REV ERNEST BRUCE MEMORIAL METHODIST HOLDS ‘GIDEON AND MARY CONFERENCE’

The
maiden edition of the 'Gideon and Mary Conference' has been held at the Rev
Ernest Bruce Memorial Methodist Church in the Adabraka Circuit.
The
Conference which took place on Saturday, August 27, 2022 was designed to equip
young people in the Church aged 10-25 years with training in spiritual, moral
and hands on craft.
An
initiative of the Superintendent Minister, the Very Rev Emmanuel N. A.
Wellington, the Conference had over a 100 young people drawn from the
Children's Service taken through soap making, beading, cookery and painting.
The
one-day retreat also saw participants taken through mentorship sessions modeled
on the lives of Bible characters, Gideon and Mary Magdalene.
